About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and optimise warehouse operations across multiple sites in the UK and the Netherlands.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving performance, consistency, and continuous improvement across three warehouse locations. You will work closely with warehouse managers and team leaders to ensure operational excellence, strong health & safety standards, and high levels of efficiency.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site logistics environment and enjoys taking ownership of operational success.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

  • Work closely with warehouse managers and team leaders to ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day logistics operations

  • Oversee warehouse processes and procedures across UK and Netherlands sites

  • Provide operational support across departments where required

  • Act as operational lead during peak demand or periods of absence

  • Drive consistency in standards, best practices, and team performance

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor performance against KPIs and agreed targets

  • Identify cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements

  • Review and enhance warehouse processes and workflows

  • Lead reporting and target-setting across all locations

  • Embed a strong continuous improvement culture

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Take ownership of health & safety compliance across all sites

  • Ensure policies and safe working practices are consistently applied

  • Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions

Reporting & Data

  • Maintain accurate operational reporting

  • Analyse data to support strategic decision-making

  • Provide regular performance updates to senior management


Travel & International Exposure

This role offers the opportunity to work across international operations, with travel to the Netherlands approximately once per month (around five working days).

This provides valuable exposure to multi-site logistics management, international collaboration, and broader operational oversight — ideal for someone looking to expand their leadership experience within a growing business.


About You

  • Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations management

  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Solid understanding of warehouse health & safety regulations

  • Analytical mindset with strong reporting and problem-solving ability

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments

  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%)
