OA are recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join our client’s team on a permanent basis in Hitchin.

You will be working in modern offices, supporting the Senior Vice President of the company and occasionally the board of directors with day-to-day support, travel coordination, diary management and more. This is a pivotal role within the company, where no day is the same. Job Details:

  • £30,000 - £35,000 per year
  • Permanent, full time. Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
  • 3 days in Hitchin office, 2 days working from home

Main duties:

  • Comprehensive diary management, including organising travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Monitoring phone calls, as well as face to face meetings / interactions
  • Managing emails / inbox, dealing with queries or questions on behalf of SVP
  • Supporting with monthly board meetings, which includes all organisation before and after, preparing and coordinating the agenda through to taking notes and distributing and following up on actions
  • Compiling data and information to produce reports and presentations for use in local, Regional and Global meetings
  • Drafting communications for and on behalf of the SVP and their management teams

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a PA or EA role, supporting Senior Management/Director level
  • Confidential and discreet approach, as you will be handling sensitive business information
  • Strong IT Skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced PowerPoint Skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, confidence to liaise with various clients, senior stakeholders and employees at all levels
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
  • Previous experience of organising and coordinating business events for large audiences of both internal and external attendees
