Class 2 Plant Driver.

Role: Class 2, Plant Driver 

Location: Rainham, Essex 

Hours: Full time

Salary: £16ph

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Class 2 Plant Driver to join our clients successful team.

Duties of a Class 2 Plant Driver:

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle for deliveries, collections, and relocations of portable toilets and welfare units.
• Load and unload plant equipment using appropriate machinery or vehicle-mounted equipment.
• Carry out on-site servicing of units, including replenishing consumables and ensuring cleanliness to company standards.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, maintain accurate service records, and report any defects.

What we would like from you:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience in plant, waste, or hire industry driving preferred (e.g., tankers, vac trucks, plant delivery)
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks and work outdoors in all conditions.
