If so, Osborne Appointments are currently looking to recruit for a Bookkeeper to join our client's Accountancy Practice, based near Hitchin, on a temporary basis.

This is a temporary opportunity to help support the bookkeeping and payroll workload within the Practice and support the Accountants, either on a full time or part time basis. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible on part time OR Full time

Weekly Pay: £12.00 to £15.00 an hour

Free on-site parking Immediate Start

Bookkeeper - Key Responsibilities:

• First class Bookkeeping to a high standard/management account level
• Client direct so must be happy to talk/email clients and organise their work load so deadlines are met.
• Taking control of a portfolio of clients being the first point of contact for queries
• Management Accounts
• Preparing double-entry bookkeeping to trial balance
• Calculate Clients weekly and monthly payrolls, year-end returns and liaise with the HMRC Preparation of VAT returns

Bookkeeper - Skills & Experience:

• Experience within bookkeeping / similar position
• SAGE experience essential 
• Microsoft Packages - Word, Excel & Outlook
• Strong attention to detail 
• Available to start immediately
