Job details:

Salary: £28,000, increasing to £30,500 after 6 months employment

Rotational shift patterns - 21:00 - 06:00, 22:00 - 07:00, 22:30 - 07:30

Main Duties

• Daily leadership and delegation of tasks for the Nights Service Delivery team
• Working with your team to guide and develop their success long-term (including 121s)
• Supporting with the training and onboarding of new colleagues
• Managing real-time challenges and escalations
• Managing shipment orders end to end, monitoring the platform to meet business KPIs
• Documentation checking
• Monitoring the success of the App Platform, ensuring the users feedback is taken on board and raised internally
• Providing feedback and ideas for product and process improvement
• Contributing to the development of operating procedures and user guides
• Build and maintain business relationship with shippers and carriers
  
  

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous Team Leader/Supervisor experience
• Outstanding communication skills, internal and external (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work on own initiative to prioritise work                                                                                         
• Structured and organised, able to work under pressure                                                        
• Ability to work well in a team
• Flexible approach and can-do attitude                                                       
• Problem solving - Willingness to overcome barriers and resolve queries
• Adept at quickly learning new technology and working in a digital, paperless environment
• Ability to Delegate
