Role: Sales & Trade Counter Advisor

Location: Hertford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Salary: £14.50 an hour, weekly pay

Temporary to Permanent opportunity

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Sales & Trade Counter Advisor to join a well-established client based in Hertford.

Duties of a Sales & Trade Counter Advisor:

• Handle customer enquiries via email, phone, and in person at the trade counter.
• Process and put together accurate sales orders using computer systems.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to both new and existing customers.
• Support the sales team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth order flow.
• Assist with stock enquiries and product selection when needed.
• Contribute to promotions and sales activities in-store and online.

What we would like from you:

• Previous experience within sales order processing
• Previous experience in B2B sales (wholesale, builders’ merchants, or garden/DIY sheds) 
• Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and in person.
• Highly organised and attention to detail
• Team Player
• An interest in horticulture or plants is desirable
