OA are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller on behalf of our client based in Biggleswade.

The Quality Controller role is responsible for ensuring that the products they supply are fit for purpose, legally compliant and meet customer expectation.

What will the Quality Controller be doing?

You will monitor and advise on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS), producing data and reporting on performance measuring against set KPIs.

Quality Controller Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist on inbound material controls.
• Lead on company Quality procedures, standards and specifications.
• Ensure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards.
• Assist in the BSI audits to maintain our ISO 9001 Certificates.
• Monitor performance by capturing and produce statistical reports on various KPI’s.
• Update and continuously improve on Quality Performance in the warehouse.
• Handling complaints, perform root cause analysis and resolve problems as required.
• Make sure the company is working as effectively as possible to surpass our competitors.
• Collaborating with external vendors / suppliers to ensure they meet Quality standards.

• Ability to complete Non-Conformances with corrective actions
• Previous Quality experience
• Experience of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills and time management
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent levels of initiative
• Decision making skills.

• Internal Auditor
• Quality planning experience
• Report Writing Skills
