Do you have an interest in "What Makes Up" a product? 

If so, Osborne Appointments are currently working with an organisation based in St Albans, that are looking to hire a Projects Administrator to join the team.

We are looking for a candidate to aid the projects team in analysing technical drawings to produce comprehensive breakdowns, quotations, thus, to allow the team to make accurate business decisions and orders. Our client is offering this role on a Temporary to Permanent basis, with full training provided. 

£10.77 an hour, weekly pay (Pay increases after probation)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00AM to 17:30PM

Immediate Start Date 

Project Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing Drawings / Job orders to create Breakdowns for client quotations
  • Understanding assemblies (being able to understand the different components and assembly options to make up an order)
  • Understanding all products and stock holdings of products and being able to demonstrate this knowledge internally and to clients.
  • Dealing with a variety of third parties including internal colleagues / internal warehouse staff / trade / manufacturers / clients / shipping & logistics team’s / procurement team’s
  • Aiding the project management team
  • Supporting the internal sales team to create quotations and information to win new work / clients and then aiding the transition of new clients into standardized processes
  • Understanding and handling stock forecasting & allocations

Project Administrator - Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a technical background
  • Background of handling drawings / plans to create breakdowns would be ideal however not essential
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks is desirable
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a busy work environment
  • Organisational skills
