Project Manager - Construction Industry

OA are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our clients team, initially on a 12 month FTC.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with existing experience in the Property Development/Construction industry, or with a Degree in a related field.

About the role:

• Full time, 12 month FTC
• Bonus scheme & pay review if role becomes permanent after 12 months
• £30,000 - £36,000 per annum
• Must be a driver with own vehicle, fuel expenses for site travel are covered!

Main Duties:

Planning Stage:

• Assist in project planning permission stages.
• Coordinate with surveyors, planning consultants, and architects.
• Oversee planning condition sign-offs and maintain records.

Development Stage:

• Ensure efficient project execution within budget.
• Assist in site setup, material orders, and safety measures.
• Manage material orders, deliveries, and supplier relationships.
• Handle contractor management and internal fitout budgets.
• Schedule building control and warranty site inspections.
• Maintain documentation for control and warranty sign-offs.
• Supervise expenditure sheets and collaborate with QS.
• Oversee service installations, CDM compliance, and safety.
• Conduct regular site visits for progress assessment.

General Management:

• Collaborate with Solicitors and Estate Agents for property marketing.
• Complete required legal documentation.
• Coordinate customization choices with purchasers.
• Manage the Project Administrator/coordinator.
• Update and manage company website.
• Ensure accurate handover documentation.
• Conduct handovers/completions with property purchasers.
• Oversee snagging protocols and post-completion care.
• Build relationships with local land agents.
• Research and manage property development opportunities.
• Enhance company profile through advertising and media.
• Assist company accountant with payment and invoicing.
