OA Group are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client based in Hertford on a Permanent basis.

Working Hours of a Production Manager:

Monday to Friday 0800-1700

Pay Rate of a Production Manager:

Up to £60,000 dependant on experience

Main duties of a Production Manager

• Develop and implement effective production schedules to optimise efficiency and meet production targets
• Supervise and co-ordinate production activities to ensure smooth and timely execution of projects
• Ensure that production equipment is regularly inspected and well-maintained to guarantee smooth operations and minimise downtime
• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols across all production processes to maintain a safe working environment
• Implement quality control measures to uphold product standards and identify areas for improvement
• Provide effective leadership to production staff, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing productivity
• Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimisation
• Review team skill requirements and ensure cross training is maintained to enable a multiskilled team

Personal specification of a Production Manager

• Experience within a similar role
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques
• Experience of managing teams
