Role: Evening Shift Supervisor – Pick/Pack – evenings

Location: HP2 7FW

Hours: Monday to Friday 15:00-00:00 or 19:00-03:00

Salary: £26,000-£28,000  plus 10-15% annual performance related bonus

Due to opening a second shift an opportunity has now arisen for two  Evening Pick/Pack Shift Supervisors to join our client’s successful team in Hemel Hempstead (moving to St Albans in January 2024)  

We are looking to fill this role quickly & ideally need candidates that are immediately available.

Role summary:

As the Assistant Evening Pick/Pack Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of our evening shift, focusing on the pick and pack operations. Working with a team of 20 employees, your responsibility is to assist the shift Manager in coordinating the order fulfilment process, ensuring the team are organised, efficient and accurate. Your role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to meeting customer demands and upholding our high standards of delivery time and quality.  

What we would like from you:

  • Experience in a supportive role within a warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce fulfillment environment.  
  • Ability to assist in leading and motivating a team.  
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Capable of prioritising tasks and assisting in decision-making.
  • Familiar with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Physical capability for walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
