OA Recruitment are seeking an Office Administrator for a temp to perm position with a family run Luton based company since the 1960s

 

About the company:
The company specializes in animal welfare, producing equipment that provide practical solutions for animal management and aid the health & safety for those who work with them.  

 

About the job:

You will be initially start working on a temp to perm basis and will be responsible for the administration and sales for the business.

Duties include:

  • Managing company correspondence, including phone calls
  • Communicate externally with assigned customer accounts, handling all queries
  • Liaise internally with Customer Services regarding queried invoices, and further with Sales team in relation to account problem solving
  • Generating sales orders and invoices using SOS and Quickbooks
  • Investigate any unidentified deductions including short or over payments from customers.Work within the guidelines of company internal control policies

 

The role office based and the client is open to having someone join them either on a part time or full time basis.  The office operates from 8am to 4pm so you could either be working 25 or 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.  The pay rate for this role is £11 to £13ph depending on experience. 

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • A great team player attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within an environment of change
  • Ability to develop customer relationships
  • Accounts Receivable and QuickBooks experience preferred (training will be given)
  • IT savvy – proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • Experience of working with Quickbooks.
  • Time management and prioritisation skills; ability to work on own initiative
