OA are recruiting for a Graduate Procurement Coordinator to join our clients’ team on a permanent basis in Welwyn Garden City.

No experience is required as full training is provided!

What you’ll get up to:

• Negotiating preferred supplier contracts and prices
• Review product areas to understand the products and services, costs, and factors that could influence price
• Identifying key suppliers within the market
• Negotiating the best prices on behalf of customers
• Implementing contracts and Service Level Agreements for new contracts
• Supporting with ad-hoc purchasing requests as required
• Providing Product and Services training to internal colleagues
• Attending face-to-face review meetings with suppliers
  
  

What we need from you:

• Graduate level, previous experience is not required
• Ability to learn and understand a range of products and services
• A good understanding of numbers, particularly around pricing and figures (percentages, averages, etc)
• A “Natural” buyer – someone who will not be satisfied with the first price given. Instead this person will enjoy looking for better deals!
• Strong IT Skills with basic Excel ability

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of this department, completing a Mathematics Assessment is required in order to progress your application. This will be completed onsite with OA, your recruiter will discuss with you if shortlisted.
