If so, Osborne Appointments are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client based in Letchworth, who are looking for a strong Customer service Advisor to Join the Customer Service Team.

The Customer Service Advisor role will provide excellent service to customers, accounts and other internal teams. As the first point of contact for customers, the role will work efficiently to deal with customer queries and orders, ensuring that a resolution is met, and customers always receive excellent service.

  • Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5:30 pm
  • £9.75 per hour
  • Full training provided
  • Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
  • Must be available ASAP

Customer Service Advisor - Responsibilities

  • To be the first point of contact for customers via email and telephone related to resolving complaints/issues, requests, orders, and account queries
  • Ensure customer sales orders are keyed accurately and efficiently
  • Deal with general queries, quotation management, order placement and open order management from order through to delivery
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers
  • Act as the dedicated point of contact for certain accounts when required
  • Identify business opportunities and forward to the National Sales Manager when required
  • Work to be managed through agreed department and individual KPI’s
  • To be proactive and bring trends, issues, and changes to the attention of the business, then work to solve any issues to maintain excellent service levels

Customer Service Advisor - Skills and experience

  • Customer service/relationship building experience
  • Inbound and outbound call experience
  • Excellent verbal, listening and communication skills
  • Well organised and able to prioritise
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Delivering objectives and adhering to KPIs
  • IT literate
