CMM Operator/Programmer.

CMM Operator Wanted!

Monday- Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Based in Bedford

OA are working in partnership with a company which has been established for over 70 years and they are looking for a CMM Operator to join their team.

The company has grown over the years but have managed to maintain the family culture we all strive to achieve.

The CMM Operator will be responsible for ensuring incoming and internally machined components meet design specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow the companies ISO9001 accredited quality management system in their day-to-day activities.
• Inspect externally sourced parts and assemblies against design specifications, technical drawings and complete all relevant documentation.
• Carry out first off inspections.
• Carry out in-process inspections.
• Provide data to support department KPI’s

Key Skills & Experience

• Competent in running and programming CMM
• Competent in using a range of handheld inspection instruments
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
• Customer and results focused.
• Competent in reading technical drawings and understanding tolerances including GD&T.

Minimum Education requirements

To be considered for this role a candidate must be able to satisfy the following requirements:

• HNC level education or equivalent related industry experience.
• Sound knowledge of Inspection methodology.
• Valid UK driving license.
