Duties of a Business Support role:

  • Work closely with the wider team to support funding programmes and grant-making activity
  • Attend community events and meetings to build strong relationships with local groups
  • Represent the charity in the community, promoting its mission and services
  • Produce written reports, assessments and funding evaluations
  • Help to coordinate projects, events and stakeholder engagement
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
  • Support administrative processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations

What we would like from you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable talking to community representatives, donors and internal teams
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable)
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail – able to evaluate and report on funding/project outcomes
  • A proactive and supportive team player
  • Passionate about making a difference in the local community
