Location: Welwyn Garden City

Permanent – Full Time

Salary: £21,840 - £27,300 per annum

We currently have a new and exciting vacancy as a Brake Press Machine Operator for a well-established client based in Welwyn Garden City.

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: (Flexible hours and days)

Experience of operating a Brake Press Machine is necessary. This role could lead to further training and development for someone looking to upskill and progress their career. What will you be doing as a Brake Press Setter/Operator?

Maintaining a ‘hands-on’ role including but not limited to: -

• Be able to read and manufacture from detailed in house and customer drawings.
• Fabricating in a workshop environment including press brake, guillotine and general engineering skills.
• Work with various materials, generally Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
• Work to all company operating procedures
• Must be able to problem solve and work under pressure.
• Maintain machine workshop and keeping your work area clean and tidy

• Adhere to all health and safety
• Have a good work ethic in a busy and varied workshop.
• Good communication skills and ability to integrate into a small team.
• To adopt and maintain safe working practices
