If so, Osborne Appointments are currently looking to recruit for several Administrators to work Out of Hours and join part of an Animal Hospital based near Hatfield.  

Our client is currently looking for customer focused individual that has the ability to manage situations of a sensitive nature, relating to animals. You will be part of a team, involving mainly telephone calls and arranging bookings, to face to face customer service, working in a very busy, fast paced environment. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 4pm - Midnight (usually 3 days in the week) 

                          Saturday AND Sunday - days off in the week 

£13.46 an hour, paid weekly.

Immediate start, Temping until July, with the potential to go Permanent

MUST be a driver, due to location

Full training provided 

Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

  • To greet all clients and visitors calmly and professionally and be able to talk to them regarding any information they may need.
  • To deal professionally, sensitively, and promptly to all emergency telephone calls.
  • To empathise with anxious or upset clients and be sensitive to their needs.
  • To accurately record all information given by clients and make appropriate judgement on the next action required.
  • To prepare case files prior to appointments.
  • To ensure all payments/deposits are taken and recorded on the computer system in line with QMHA policies and targets.
  • To ensure completion of all processes on discharge.
  • To complete insurance claim forms promptly and accurately.
  • To maintain case record filing system.

Administrator - Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience within administration / customer service
  • Experience within client services or reception would be beneficial
  • Ability to use client databases / telephone systems
  • Great communication skills; verbal and written
  • Flexibility with working hours - evenings and weekends. 
  • Available to start immediately
