OA has a very exciting opportunity. We are now on the lookout for an Account Manager for a close knit team in Borehamwood.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who has high drive in sales and is able to make strong relationships with clients and great at delivering results.

 

Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00 with some flexibility.

£30, 000 K 

 

The Role

  • In collaboration with the Brand Manager you will be responsible for developing Independent & mid – level department store accounts throughout the UK
  • Plan & implement road trips to cover UK territory by developing effective journey cycles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through regular client appointments
  • Organise and conduct product training in collaboration with the Brand Manager, including visual merchandising to retail sales consultants to maximise product sell through
  • Review seasonal and monthly budgets with brand manager to ensure planned sales targets are met
  • Monitor weekly sell through from key accounts in order to react to best sellers and inventory levels
  • Working closely with retailers to ensure they have all the assets to support sales in terms of product and lifestyle photography, product copy, marketing materials e.g. banners. This includes completing build sheets with product specification information.
  • Prepare regular customer mail outs including stock information, sales promotions, e mail blasts, samples etc. 
  • Assisting the Brand Manager for meetings, presentations / trade shoes / showrooms /  press event if needed.

The candidate:

1.            Experience of working in and understanding an International branded environment.

2.            The role demands strong organizational skills as time management is essential to balance head office responsibilities with field work.

3.            Excellent eye for detail essential

4.            Excellent oral and written communication skills essential

5.            Creative when devising pitches, presentations and reaching the decision maker.

6.            Hungry and tenacious attitude essential

7.            Laptop/smart phone proficient especially in programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint

8.            Strong social skills and the ability to communicate well essential

9.            Ability to multi-task and to be flexible to change essential. Often working on multiple projects at one time and to tight deadlines.

10.         Full UK Driver’s license essential

11.         Team player with a can do attitude.
