What is your role at OA?
Managing a team of 2 within the Industrial Team for the Bedford industrial temporary division.
My role responsibilities are:
- Daily meetings with the team
- Working with clients to fulfil their recruitment needs
- Planning with clients for their recruitment forecasts
- Account manage my existing clients
- Make sure all candidates are compliant so they are able to work with us at OA
What were you doing before you joined OA?
I have been working in recruitment for the last 12 years. Throughout my time working in recruitment, I have worked as a Permanent and Temporaries consultant in both the commercial and industrial sectors. Most recently I have been promoted to Managing Consultant. My expertise is working within the Industrial Sector where I am discussing recruitment with Blue Collar clients for Temporary and Contract recruitment.
Why did you choose OA?
After returning to work after my first child OA had all the values I was seeking in a new employer. After 7 years I am still as happy as I was that first day when I started!
What does working at OA mean to you?
I don't class working at OA a hard task this is due to having a lot of support both personally and professionally. What I was promised back in 2015 for career development has come to fruition and I am on the career path I was promised. I am very lucky to work within an extremely hard-working, dedicated, driven and fun business.
Outside of work, what are your hobbies & interests?
I absolutely love spending time with my friends whilst drinking a good Pinot Grigio. I have two little boys who are a delight to make memories with and an incredible husband who supports me in everything I do.
