What is your role at OA?

Weekly payroll for the temps and purchase ledger.

What were you doing before you joined OA?

I have a background in travel working for a company that managed the European sales, marketing, training and reservations for a few hotel groups in the Caribbean. I have also dabbled in other industries but in every job that I have had, I have always seemed to end up doing work on the accounts side. Payroll was new to me when I started at OA.

Why did you choose OA?

Among other things, I loved the ethos of the company and the energy and closeness of the team I was joining in the Welwyn branch, it also offered me the flexibility that I needed with 2 children under 5 at home.

What does working at OA mean to you?

I always describe my job as my 'Golden Egg'. I'm very proud to say that I work for OA and it means a lot that I have found a company where everyone is appreciated/respected in the parts that they play in making OA what it is. On top of that, the role allows me a great work/life balance which is so important.

Outside of work, what are your hobbies & interests?

I play the piano, paint and do Pilates.

I love dancing, spending time with friends....and cheesecake. I am not a fan of being woken up by my human alarm clock (my kids) before a sensible hour, rainy days or doing the never-ending family washing!
