What is your role at OA?

As Management Accountant, I'll be responsible for timely & accurate reporting of financial performance within the business.

A key part of the modern finance role is also to 'business partner' which means working more closely with other areas of the business to understand how finance can bring additional value to them, so I'll be looking to do that!

Relevant experience & expertise?

I've been a finance professional for over 9 years now, while also recently completing my ACCA studies, making me a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.

My 9+ years of experience in finance have also seen me working in businesses in varied industries (from Tyre Distribution to Fire Safety Equipment), and also in businesses of varying sizes.

This has stood me in good stead to attack whatever comes my way in my role here!

Why did you choose OA?

From the moment I took the call from Ellie about the role, I was intrigued. I could tell from Ellie's energy that OA would be a fascinating place to work.

Having recently qualified I felt as though I also needed to move back into a smaller finance function which allows me a much broader role, to learn & improve in new areas; allowing me to progress in my career.

What does working at OA mean to you?

Working at OA means the opportunity for me to enhance my career, while also working in a lively environment that differs from the typical corporate world!

Outside of work, what are your hobbies & interests?

Football (playing & watching Luton!), spa weekends with my partner & motorsport!
